The association of advertising creators working for humanitarian causes

Those who have nothing to say will never say anything.
Only the others interest me.

How to join Advertis-Aid

There are two categories of members:

1) any advertising creators or other people working in a related field (print or electronic production, photographers, illustrators, producers, etc.) and who are prepared to volunteer their time to produce humanitarian messages;

2) any humanitarian or non-government organization that qualifies to obtain volunteer* communication services or any government organization that uses advertising to bring about changes in public behaviour.

How does one join...
1) ...as an advertising creator?

Any advertising creator wishing to join may do so by entering an electronic or print creation on which he or she has worked in the competition or by paying the annual dues of CDN$50.

All members may then be asked to work on a volunteer basis on an advertising campaign for one of the humanitarian or non-government organizations that calls on ADVERTIS-AID for help. Members may also obtain paid contracts if they are selected to participate in a campaign for a government or non-government organization that has a communications budget to deliver its message.

2) ... as an organization? Any humanitarian or non-government organization may join free of charge by demonstrating the merits of its mission and its need for volunteer communication services. Any other organization whose campaign is intended to bring about changes in public behaviour may also join free of charge, but there will be charges levied for the creation, production and placement of advertising campaigns, as applicable. There may also be charges for certain large-scale fund-raising campaigns.

*Note that although most hours of work are offered free of charge, some expenses related to the purchase or rental of equipment, transportation and accommodation of volunteers, and some costs related to the production and distribution of campaigns must be covered by the humanitarian or non-government organization.
